Redshift pt.1 – changes

As I have posted about before the plan for the first film in the series of three was to create a viral/documentary style short which would lay the foundations for the other two more experimental films to carry on from. I wanted to get across the information and facts but still create a geniuine amount of intrigue in the process. That was the plan, however various factors have come about to make reconsider my approach. The actor I had in mind, who was ideal for the piece, had a very short window of availability which didn’t fit with the availability of the location. This was really dissapointing but is the kind of thing that happens with tight schedules. I toyed with the idea of replacing the actors/location but felt it wouldn’t work as well. Rather I’d like to think around it and create something thats different but achieves the same goals rather than dilute the originl idea.

I will post further on the changes made to this part of the project.
