Design Development: five

This is for a business and together we identified some areas that we felt were often overlooked on other sites. These were mainly simplicity, services and contractibility. The splash page would be the home page, what we offer is THE most important thing to get across so right from the first page it should be clear what we do and a stripped down option of services. One of our major gripes is the obscuring of contact details. So many sties look clear and crisp but if you want to contact them you have to search the page for a tiny contact number in the corner if you even get that – quite often its a vague email address or a unpersonal contact form. We wanted to make sure people could contact right from the front page and have a range of ways to do it. In this designs I haven’t yet sorted the layout of the contact details but you can get a sense as to how the website will unfold and the bold design simplicity I am aiming for. The banner containing the logo/text and the one at the bottom with contact details will be in the dreamweaver frame then the navigation bar and column system will be a flash movie. Below is a series of still to show how I want the page will unfold.
