Design Development: two

In a meeting between us it was summarised that we wanted a modern, clean look but with enough design quirk that it drew people and demonstrated that we had more to offer than any of the other simllar businesses. This is really our selling point, although we are not web designer’s per se we have a unique range of skills that cover all areas better than one person individually. I did a brief sketch of possible layout with a few things from the logo bits I did before –

I wasn’t completely happy with these sketches, the idea of having a name and contact tag on the side didn’t really fit in with the ethos we had of being clear with our identity and contact details. This idea the 3 of us with individual strengths is something that needed to resonate through the design. Fortunately through the name – Orijin we had the symbol of the three dots to play with. This turned into my focus of this design – both graphically and mechanically. You can see from the second page design I’ve done I have focused on bold lettering and and the three blocks in the middle. I’ve used these to focus the intention of the viewer on the services we offer –
